Who we are
Cortel is a UK-based AI consulting service. We help small and growing businesses identify and automate repetitive admin tasks. Our contact email is hello@cortel.io.
What data we collect
When you book a call or audit through our Calendly links, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any notes you provide. We receive this information to prepare for and deliver your session. We do not collect any payment card data directly — all payments are handled by third-party processors. Our website analytics are provided by Plausible, which is cookieless and collects no personally identifiable information.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide solely to deliver the service you have requested: to prepare your audit questionnaire, conduct your workflow session, write your report, and follow up on your engagement. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for any purpose beyond delivering the agreed service.
Third-party services
We use Calendly (calendly.com) to manage bookings. Calendly processes your booking data under their own privacy policy. We use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) for website traffic measurement. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable data.
Client data during the audit
During the audit process you may share information about your business operations, workflows, and tools. This information is used solely to produce your report. We do not require access to customer databases, personal records, or sensitive financial data as part of the standard audit. Any access to business systems agreed as part of implementation work will be scoped, documented, and limited to what is necessary.
Data retention
We retain your contact information and audit notes for as long as you are an active client, and for up to 12 months after the conclusion of any engagement. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@cortel.io.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and request restriction of processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cortel.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Plausible Analytics, our traffic measurement tool, is fully cookieless. Calendly may set cookies when you interact with a booking widget — please refer to Calendly's privacy policy for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
